The Noble Education and Research Foundation (NERF) is a registered organization under the Telangana Societies Registration Act, 2001, based in Hyderabad. NERF’s primary goal is to promote research, knowledge sharing, and innovation across industries, government, and academia. They focus on conceiving research projects and programs to improve society and create a platform for researcher, and organizational assessments efficiently.
NERF garners support from academia, industry, and government for its research initiatives, aiming to unite the global research community with Indian counterparts to foster sustainable growth in various sectors of the Indian economy. Additionally, NERF plans to collaborate with institutions like the University of Mysore to offer Ph.D. programs and register with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, under the Foreign Contributions (Regulations) Act of 1976. The foundation also strives to establish schools and centers that will empower future generations to contribute to India’s economic growth. They heavily invest in development and policy research, knowledge management, and support for innovations and social entrepreneurs to scale up and mainstream best practices in the country while staying updated with the latest research trends and developments. The envisioned nucleus will blossom in to a Centre of Excellence in sciences, social sciences and engineering and technology.
The Strategy
The strategy to fulfill the objectives and achieve the goals is to formulate a Ten-Year Perspective Plan covering to further actualise the goals. The Perspective Plan has been delineated in terms of projects, schemes and programmes envisaged for the period. It is expected that the financial resources will come not only from the normal sources of State and Central Governments and other Organisations, donations, international funding but also that there will be fair amount of self-generated finances.
The Action
Action involves strengthening its already envisioned nucleus by Schools and Centres in relevant fields and strengthening them with competent faculty and other human resources, labs, equipment, library and pedagogic and research capabilities that can achieve the goals laid down. The envisioned nucleus will blossom in to a Centre of Excellence in sciences, social sciences and engineering and technology.
